WELCOME

Hello, my name is Daniel Hauptmann. As a freelance translator with a Master's degree in English and French, I mostly translate literary texts, including transcripts and screenplays for the dubbing process of movies and TV series, as well a subtitles and books of all genres. I also compose dialogue lists (Dialogbuch) for dubbing or voice-over purposes, based on either my own work or translations from colleagues.

As a German native speaker, I translate from English and French into my mother tongue when dealing with literary texts. For technical documents, I also work from German into English. Furthermore, I offer proofreading and editing for texts of all sorts.
